Snow Day

I have a snow day today, which is probably a good thing. Especially considering that I can't get my car out of the garage and that the snow in my backyard is above my waist. Oh, and that the plow got stuck in the alley in front of my garage.

At this point, it's stopped snowing, which is good news for us, as we're supposed to be flying to Telluride tomorrow morning. And, really, considering that I have thus far made zero preparations for my trip, a day off is somewhat of a welcome treat. I hope to spend the day packing and getting ready to leave.

Anyway. It's Wisconsin. It's December. There's snow. Need I say more? Instead, I'll just share a few pictures from this morning.

Here's our grill. And, not only is it snowing, it's also very windy as you may have gathered from looking at our bricks:

We started out with Indy wearing her coat (shutup, she's a little dog with short hair--she gets cold, ok. Unfortunately, it quickly became soaking wet and we had to take it off of her.

Coat or no coat, she L-O-V-E-S the snow.



I doubt I'll post again before we leave tomorrow. And, in that case, have a very merry holiday!
